Inclement Weather Policy

For Outdoor Tournaments:

Please visit our Facebook Fan Page or call 703-966-8037 for weather-related announcements and updates.

For Indoor Leagues:

You may check our Facebook Fan Page but ultimately it is your responsibility to check with the facility to see if your match will occur or not. If you check with the facility early in the day of your scheduled match, it is recommended that you check again closer to your scheduled match time. Closings may be announced at the last minute due to changing weather/road conditions.

Leagues That Play in Fairfax County School Gym Space – If Fairfax County schools are closed, close early or cancel after school activities, all leagues played in Fairfax County school gyms will be cancelled and rescheduled. Please follow the current schedule until an update has been issued. All rescheduled matches will be added at the end of the session. Check the Fairfax County Public Schools website for Emergency Announcements @ http://www.fcps.edu/news/emerg.htm.

Leagues That Play at the Virginia Volleyball Center – If the Virginia Volleyball Center closes, all leagues that play at the Virginia Volleyball Center will be cancelled and rescheduled. Please follow the current schedule until an update has been issued. All rescheduled matches will be added at the end of the current session. Check the Virginia Volleyball Center's website for weather and contact info @ http://www.nvva.com. (The Northern Virginia Volleyball Association manages the Virginia Volleyball Center, which is why information about inclement weather/closings is posted on the NVVA website.)
